This is a custom made digital asset for the private online game "Wasteland Adventures".

An alternative squad light machine gun design, the MG42 originated in Nazi Germany during the later half of World War II. Engineered for cost-effectiveness and ease of construction, this air-cooled, belt-fed, open-bolt, recoil-operated machine gun facilitated swift barrel changes in combat. Post-World War II, American-produced MG42 copies became relatively common in the wasteland.
